BernCo Court of Wills, Estates and Probate Announces New Services for Customers

County Probate Court Judge Willow Misty Parks and the Court of Wills, Estates and Probate are offering two new services to residents of Bernalillo County.

The court is now offering the option of scheduling appointments for customers. Call (505) 468-1229 or email the staff at probate@bernco.gov in order to learn when appointments are being made and how to proceed. Walk-ins are still welcome during office hours.

In addition, the Court of Wills, Estates and Probate is now offering links to the forms needed to start the probate process on its website.

Go to www.bernco.gov/probate-court and click on the “About the Forms” tab in the column on the left side of the page to get to the needed forms.

The links are for intestate (no will) and testate (with will) and the checklists associated with both. These probate forms originate from the New Mexico Supreme Court.

“We are proud to bring these new services to our customers,” says BernCo Probate Court Judge Willow Misty Parks. “The probate court can be intimidating and we hope that being able to make an appointment and get the forms needed online can make the probate process a little easier and a better experience.”

Customers can also access the New Mexico Supreme Court probate forms directly by visiting the court site at https://www.nmcourts.gov/forms.aspx and then clicking on "Probate Forms" tab. For additional assistance or if having difficulty accessing the forms, please contact the New Mexico Supreme Court directly with the contact information provided on their website.
