Ninth Annual Safari Run to be Held March 31

Commissioner Maggie Hart Stebbins and Global Healthcare Partnerships (GHP) invite the public to the ninth Annual Safari Run on Sunday, March 31 at the UNM North Campus Golf Course Open Space. The event begins at 8:30 a.m.

“The Safari Run is a remarkable opportunity to see some of the world's finest distance runners compete right here in Bernalillo County - and gives our kids the opportunity to get some coaching and inspiration from these amazing athletes,” says Bernalillo County Commission Chair Maggie Hart Stebbins. “We also celebrate our community's generosity in supporting Global Health Partnerships with medical and community projects in rural Kenya.”

To participate in the event, go to Active.com to register online.

Local, elite Kenyan and professional runners will participate in this family-friendly event.
