What We Do:

  • Each Bernalillo County community center provides various programs and activities for youth and adults, such as the Summer Recreation Program, Parky's Pals Pre-School Recreation Program, aerobics and fitness classes, dance instruction, arts and crafts, and one-on-one literacy tutoring.
  • The Teen Program provides after-school recreation for children ages 13-17 years, such as field trips, dance crews and homework assistance. This program is held at the Westside and Mountain View Community Centers and the Paradise Hills Teen Center.
  • Raymond G. Sanchez, Los Vecinos, South Valley Multi-Purpose Senior Center and Paradise Hills community centers house senior citizen meal-site programs.
  • All community centers are used to host a variety of community organizations, events, sports leagues and meetings.
