Certification Reports

Pursuant to 7-38-31 NMSA, the county assessor is to certify the net taxable value of the county to the property tax division of the taxation and revenue department of the state of New Mexico. This certification report includes a statement of all property valuations that are the subject of a pending protest, whether protested locally or to the department, and a statement of the uncontroverted valuation in the pending protest.

Abstract Reports

Pursuant to 7-38-35 and 7-38-36 NMSA, the county assessor shall prepare a property tax schedule for all property subject to property taxation in the county. This is done after the receipt of the rate-setting order and the order imposing the tax. This tax schedule will then be delivered to the county treasurer on October 1 of each tax year to prepare the tax bills.
