Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center Suspends Microchip and Rabies Vaccination Services


Effective Wednesday, March 18, the Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center will temporarily halt microchip and rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats.

The county has reduced staffing in several departments, including the Animal Care and Resource Center, to comply with social distancing guidelines implemented because of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

The Animal Care and Resource Center is open to the public, Tuesday - Saturday 11a.m-3:30 p.m. Adoptions take place 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
