No registration is required for the program and each breakfast and lunch is served on a grab-n-go basis. Parents can drive-thru at each location and every child in the car will receive a breakfast and/or lunch.

“Without this program many kids of Bernalillo County would likely go without a healthy meal, every day throughout the summer,” says County Commission Chair Lonnie Talbert. “Bernalillo County is supporting our kids and making sure we give them a leg up in the summer months.”

The 22 county summer lunch locations are outside Albuquerque city limits in unincorporated parts of Bernalillo County, including the South and North valleys, East Mountains, and Paradise Hills. The number of locations this year has been reduced due to coronavirus (COVID 19).

For more information and to view a new map of this year’s locations in the city and county, visit www.bernco.gov/summerlunch. Families can also call 505-314-0430 or 505-314-0425.

Bernalillo County’s Summer Lunch Program is funded by a U.S. Department of Agriculture grant administered by the state Children, Youth and Families Department.

The meals are prepared at the Albuquerque Public Schools central kitchen, and delivered to sites around the county.
