Why is this measure important?

The measure is important because it tracks the rate at which youth participate in supervision for thirty days without new law violations, appearing for subsequent court hearings, participation in services outlined in the conditions of release and is adjudicated or transferred back to probation.

Definition of Unsuccessful Youth in the Program: Unsuccessful Youth are youth who have absconded from the program or violated their conditions of release resulting in a warrant. 

Youth may be picked up immediately after warrant is executed by the Community Custody Staff and returned back to the facility to attend their next court hearing or made re-eligible for the Community Custody Program in the court hearing.
