Bernalillo County's Policy and Capital Outlay Priorities for the Jan. 2019 Legislative Session

The State of New Mexico’s First Session of the 54th Legislature begins at noon on Jan. 15, 2019 in Santa Fe.

Bernalillo County has a number of legislative priorities for the upcoming session that encompass two areas – Capital Outlay and Policy.

  • Bernalillo County Assessor's Office Veterans Outreach continues March 21, 2019, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Veteran Services. Learn about the property tax saving programs available to you as a veteran or a surviving spouse. Two types of veterans' exemptions are available: Service related exemption which gives a $4,000 reduction in taxable value of the property. 100 percent disabled exemption that relieves the veteran of all property taxes owed on their primary residence.
