Community Survey to Determine East Mountain Broadband Needs

11/23/2020

Bernalillo County, with the Village of Tijeras, is conducting a community survey to determine resident and business broadband needs in the East Mountains. We understand some neighborhoods have slow bandwidths and we are considering applying for a USDA Community Connect grant to improve service. We are looking at installing high speed fiber optic conduit south of I-40 to better connect our neighborhoods especially during the pandemic when we rely so much on the internet for remote work, school, and shopping.

Please take the survey to help us determine the broadband need in the East Mountains zip code 87059.
