All Are Invited to Commissioner Hart Stebbins' Monthly Luncheon on April 17

Bernalillo County Commission Chair Maggie Hart Stebbins would like to invite you to her next monthly neighborhood luncheon on Wednesday, April 17, from noon-1 p.m. at McKinley Community Center, 3401 Monroe NE.

The speaker in April is Pat Davis, Albuquerque City Councilor-District 6, which includes the International District, Mesa Del Sol, Nob Hill, the Southeast Heights, and the University of New Mexico.

Councilor Davis began his public service career as a police officer in Washington, DC and then Albuquerque. He was one of the youngest New Mexicans nominated to attend the FBI National Academy. He earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University.

Prior to joining the Albuquerque City Council, Councilor Davis founded ProgressNow New Mexico, a non-profit advocacy group working on public policy campaigns. He has served as a member and Chairman of the Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers and as a board member for Creative Albuquerque and the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund.

This is a brown bag luncheon – you bring a sandwich and we will provide the beverages. An RSVP to jhartley@bernco.gov is appreciated.
