The county outsources the services of federal and county lobbyist(s). A Request for Proposal (RFP) is solicited every four years and contract(s) are awarded for lobbyist services to assist the county with both federal and state legislation.

The “Transparency Portal for Lobbyist(s)” allows the public to view all active contracts with federal and county lobbyists. 

The federal lobbyist acts as the lead federal Representative to the county in Washington D.C. on federal legislation and project matters as requested by the county.
